Acting legend, Bill Murray, excited fans as he attended a members-only party for holders of his NFT. Murray was the guest of honor at the event in Goat Hill Park, California. By hosting the event, 'The Bill Murray 1000' has achieved one of their core aims as a project in allowing holders the opportunity to meet the star.

At the celebration, Murray held long conversations with fans, told stories, hosted a pie-eating competition, and added humor and star quality to an already exciting event. Web3 startup, Project Venkman, and comedy website, The Chive, were behind the running of the event and have said that they are keen to repeat its success in the future.

The comedy icon entered the NFT market on a mission to do some good and have fun. 'The Original Bill' NFTs sold out in 30 seconds and generated $1.4 million in revenue, with many willing to pay high prices to be a member of the exclusive club. The launch supported many causes, including The Chive and the Goat Hill Park community space in which the event was held. Bill Murray's members-only party has certainly served as a proof-of-concept for celebrity NFTs and was a unique and memorable experience for many.
