The zkSync Ignite program is a nine-month initiative distributing 300M ZK tokens to DeFi users providing liquidity across DEXs, lending, and perpetual protocols.
Season 1 runs from January 6 to March 31, 2025, with up to 100 million ZK tokens allocated for liquidity providers.
Participants can earn ZK token rewards by depositing liquidity into eligible pools of participating protocols, such as Uniswap, Aave, and SyncSwap.
Rewards are distributed bi-weekly, with new allocations set aside and streamed to DeFi users every two weeks.
To participate, users need to bridge assets to the zkSync Era, select an incentivized pool, deposit liquidity, and claim rewards through the Fuel Station platform.
In June 2024, zkSync distributed over $500M in airdrops to active participants, with more than 20% allocated for airdrop and ecosystem initiatives.
