STEPN, a mobile app where you can earn rewards by being active, is partnering with Adidas, the famous sports brand, for something big. After giving away $100 million worth of its digital currency, GMT, STEPN is now introducing Genesis Sneaker NFTs in collaboration with Adidas and its web3 project, ALTS by Adidas.
On April 17th, they will release 1,000 special sneaker NFTs on Solana, a blockchain platform. You can try to get one of these digital sneakers through a raffle organized by the FSL Ecosystem, which is connected to STEPN’s MOAAR marketplace and a web3 game called Gas Hero.
There's a lot of excitement about this partnership, and they've hinted that there's more to come. However, it's not clear yet if these digital sneakers will also come with real physical ones, like the 'Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti' football boots.
Some lucky people from the Adidas and FSL communities get early access to the raffle. This includes those who own ALTS by Adidas, STEPN OG, and Genesis NFTs.
If you've earned special badges on STEPN or reached certain levels in MOOAR or Gas Hero, you'll get early access. Just sign up using your STEPN-connected email on the website click here, the day before the release.
But even if you haven't earned any special badges or NFTs, you can still try your luck. From April 18th to 21st, there will be an open raffle where 790 people can win these cool digital collectibles.
Just be prepared to spend some money if you do get access. These digital sneakers cost 10,000 GMT, which is about $2,500 based on current exchange rates, according to CoinGecko.
So, if you love sneakers or NFTs, remember to mark your calendar for April 17th and get ready to join the raffle for STEPN chance to own a piece of this exciting collaboration between Adidas and STEPN.
