The luxury sports car brand, Aston Martin made its first step into web3 with its new NFT limited collection. They partnered with Tiny Digital Factory, a development company specializing in motorsports games, to produce the 3000-NFT collection, a digital racetrack game, and marketplace. This NFT collection is designed to match the actual cars, which holders will be able to drive and race with others in the metaverse via Infininiate Drive, the “next generation” gaming app which will be available on both iOS and Android and will have its own marketplace where holders will able to rent their car. Aston Martin joins the ranks of other car companies that have launched in web3 including, Chevrolet, Lamborghini, and Porsche.
