Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced its partnership with Avalanche blockchain to facilitate the use of blockchain technology for payments, as well as for businesses and government institutions to build dApps in their ecosystem. AWS will support Avalanche infrastructure to make it easy for devs to launch nodes on Avalanche. John Wu, the president of Ava labs, mentioned the impact this partnership will have on the Avalanche ecosystem. Other blockchains also use AWS, including 25% of the Ethereum network, but AWS says their partnership with Avalanche is "foundational." Avalanche already has over 500 applications on the blockchain and they are expecting the AWN partnership to vastly improve blockchain growth and user experience. Ava Labs plans to add a new feature, called “Subnet” deployment, to the AWS marketplace, which will allow users, as well as institutions, to launch their own custom networks on the Avalanche blockchain.
