Avión Tequila by Pernod Ricard is venturing into the world of web3 with its release: 'Lucky Liquid.' This special blend of tequila and NFTs will drop on June 3 and stir a frenzy among spirits and tech enthusiasts alike.
The bottle will go for $495 or 0.13 ETH per bottle, and the special bottles are set to drop only on BlockBar.com. BlockBar is the most known marketplace in spirits, authenticated by blockchain technology to ensure that every bottle is authentic and owned by a specific owner.
Avión Lucky Liquid will only have 100 bottles available, and they will be sold first-come, first-served. This limited release showcases the brand's dedication to maintaining high quality, pushing innovation boundaries, and exclusivity. Avión Lucky Liquid is an extra añejo tequila aged for nine years in a single oak cask that was previously used to age Mexican Cabernet Sauvignon. This aging process gives the tequila its distinct character and rich flavor profile.
The tequila is reddish in color and not filtered to maintain its lively texture. The second you open a bottle, you'll be hit with intense aromas of cacao and candied red fruits. Its taste is full-bodied with rich tannins, complemented by mellow notes of peach, cranberry, and pecans.
This special edition tequila will be available only on BlockBar, as a means of introducing Avión's luxury tequilas to a community that appreciates fine spirits and the latest technologies. The drop points out Avión's continuous efforts to innovate and disrupt the industry.
Each bottle of Lucky Liquid has been designed in specially crafted, gold-accents packaging inspired by the prestigious Reserva range. The packaging further incorporates blockchain-inspired hexadecimal codes, which encode the manifesto of Lucky Liquid, adding an extra touch of class and elegance to the packaging.
Each bottle will be safely stored at BlockBar's state-of-the-art facility in Singapore. From July 2025 onwards, owners can either resell their NFT on the secondary marketplace or redeem it for the actual bottle.
