Adidas X Bored Ape Yacht Club launched an innovative new wearable NFT merch collection for their apes. Called Virtual Gear, it’s a limited-edition, 16-piece digital wearable with a dressing tool that allows BAYC and MAYC holders to dress and undress their Apes in the custom virtual gear. The collection consists of a few varieties of jackets and hoodies, which users can buy on Opensea. Capsule NFTs owners can choose to burn their Capsule for a randomized piece of Virtual Gear, or save it for a future burn event. The really exciting aspect about the gear is that it's interoperable between metaverses, so it can adapt to the rapidly changing industry. Currently, only the BAYC and MAYC collections are compatible.
