A cascade of crypto artists led by Empress Trash and Max Capacity defected from Twitter over the weekend to find more authentic community on Tumblr. The whole scene migrated for Tumbr’s nostalgic vibes, loosened NSFW filter, wildly better media-sharing capacity, and complete lack of the kind of shilly, scammy, influencer vibes characteristic of Twitter, not to mention to escape the extreme pressure to be perfect. True artists want freedom and space to create. So if you want the alpha on who the next Beeple, Tyler Hobbs, or Claire Silver is, then follow this scene closely. Also feel free to join in.
