Dolomite Reveals DOLO Token Airdrop & Token Generation Event Details

Published at: April 24, 2025

What’s the DOLO Token Airdrop All About?

If you're into DeFi or exploring the Arbitrum ecosystem, there’s exciting news from Dolomite, a growing crypto market protocol. The platform just announced full details about its upcoming DOLO token airdrop and the much-anticipated Token Generation Event (TGE).

  • 9% of DOLO tokens will go to Dolomite users.
  • 1% is reserved for community contributors like developers and security researchers.
  • 10% goes to the minerals programme, rewarding users providing USDC, ETH, and WBTC.

The airdrop is based on a snapshot taken on January 6. Any unclaimed rewards will go back to the DAO treasury after six months from the TGE.

Transferable vs Locked DOLO Tokens (veDOLO)

Dolomite is offering two types of tokens:

  • Transferable DOLO tokens – tradable like any ERC-20 token.
  • Locked veDOLO tokens – locked for 2 years, potentially offering bonus rewards based on XP level.

When and Where is the Token Generation Event (TGE)?

The DOLO Token Generation Event will happen on Berachain after its mainnet launch. DOLO will be launched as an ERC-20 token using a lock-and-mint model, keeping Ethereum and Berachain in sync.

How it works:

  • Tokens are locked on Ethereum.
  • Equivalent tokens are minted on Berachain.
  • Burn-and-mint ensures supply tracking during cross-chain transfers.

Future Cross-Chain Compatibility

Dolomite plans to expand compatibility beyond Berachain. Using Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), DOLO tokens will work across more Layer 2 networks and alternative Layer 1 chains.

Final Thoughts: Stay Informed

If you're part of the Dolomite crypto community or curious about DeFi rewards, this is your chance to get involved. The airdrop and TGE are designed to reward users and promote transparency and long-term growth.

Updated documentation includes full details on:

  • Final token distribution
  • Vesting schedules
