Dubai's Mall of the Emirates will be home to the first physical NFT shop, ftNFT. Customers will be able to browse, buy and sell NFTs in person, interact with a variety of physical and digital art, and create 3D avatars of themselves using a 3D scanner.
Operated by international technology company, SoftConstruct, the store opening will be a grand event in which visitors will need to claim a free NFT in order to attend. At the opening, guests will have the opportunity to interact with NFT artists throughout the region, including the first NFT artist in the UAE, Amrita Sethi. The store will also exhibit a collection of hand painted and unique sculptures and exclusive art toys.
The ftNFT shop will open on the 22nd December 2023 with the aim of onboarding more people into web3 and helping visitors to understand and learn more about the marketplace. A second store is set to open later in the Dubai Mall.
