NFT Giant Animoca Brands Partners with Lamborghini


Automobili Lamborghini, the famous Italian luxury sports car maker, has teamed up with Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based crypto company, to create new ways to engage with fans and customers in the automotive world.

On August 8, Animoca Brands announced the partnership, saying it would combine both companies’ strengths to offer unique experiences for Lamborghini fans. However, they didn’t go into detail about what these experiences would be. The partnership will involve web3 design studio Gravitaslabs and Motorverse, an Animoca Brands venture focused on digital vehicles, as exclusive partners.

Lamborghini Strengthens Its Blockchain Presence


This isn’t Lamborghini’s first time getting involved with blockchain. In August 2022, Lamborghini worked with NFT PRO and INVNT to launch a series of NFTs featuring their iconic cars in different locations. The project, called “Road Trip NFT,” ran until March 2023 and released monthly collections of NFTs, each available for a limited time.

This project was part of Lamborghini’s bigger plan to explore modern collecting and connect with new generations through digital art and NFTs. At the time, Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s marketing director, described NFTs as a new and exclusive way to engage with the younger generation. Lamborghini also gained attention when RM Sotheby’s auctioned the last Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimate Coupé, paired with a one-of-a-kind NFT, blending physical luxury with the world of digital assets.
