And it seems like the traditional music industry is quietly getting ready to fully dive in. On August 30th, Sony filed a trademark application with the USPTO for NFT-authenticated media under its Columbia Records logo. Sony isn’t new to the space, but they are certainly not going anywhere. Music NFTs are really, truly, about to pop off (any day now, for real).
