NounsDAO Is a Different Kind of NFT Project

NounsDAO is killing it with the development of extremely relevant and powerful open-source IP for the crypto community. Current floor price is around $93,000 and owners of the Nouns PFP collection become voting members in the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that underpins the NFT project’s community. Their PFP is unique in that the image is stored directly on the Ethereum blockchain, instead of on IPFS, as most collections are. Their treasury has also amassed about $45 million in the past year, which is being used by the DAO to develop public goods and other projects to benefit the Nouns community.

One of their major innovations is to offer the codebase for a “Prop House,” which enables DAOs to create a smaller pool of funds that is more easily accessed by DAO members for community-approved ecosystem development projects.
