Opensea announced today that their marketplace will support NFTs from Arbitrum, an established and growing Layer 2 on Ethereum focused on scaling dapps. This comes after a successful launch of both fiat payments and Solana-based NFTs on their platform. Opensea also supports Polygon NFTs, and we’re all still waiting for them to make good on their ancient oath to support Tezos (especially after accepting a grant from the Tezos Foundation with a promise to build integration for Tezos NFTs into their platform). The original plan to include Tezos NFTs was announced in February 2021 on Opensea’s blog, and included viewing, trading, and embedding Tezos NFTs on websites, as well as sharing on Instagram. Nevertheless, we love to see Opensea continue to make the Web3 ecosystem accessible across chains. LFG!
