Paris Hilton has announced a new dating reality show in the sandbox metaverse. The show hosted by Hilton will begin just in time for Valentine's day and will run for a month. Players will be able to interact with potential love interests as they complete quests, shop for wedding outfits and rings, and rescue a castaway, before ultimately deciding on a partner. Once players have completed quests and made their choice, they will participate in a virtual wedding and wedding party, DJ'd by Paris herself.
The in-game dating show has been launched in conjunction with Paris Hilton's media company, 11:11 media, which was launched in 2021. Cynthia Miller, web3 and metaverse strategist at 11:11 media, said that the launch of the show will be a "defining moment" for Paris, and expressed excitement at celebrating love in the metaverse and allowing others to connect.
The reality show will take place in the Sandbox metaverse and participants will have the opportunity to win NFTs, SAND tokens, and other memorabilia and unique collectibles. Describing itself as 'part virtual real estate, part amusement park,' the Sandbox is no stranger to celebrities, having already partnered with Snoop Dogg, Tony Hawk, Steve Aoki, and other big names.
