Return of Sartoshi

Sartoshi was a well-known and well-loved satirical cartoonist and degen active in the space in 2021. The anonymous user made a splash when they dropped their Mfers collection, which is still a fairly popular project. Though Sartoshi disappeared from the space a year ago, the Mfers still have a 1.34 Eth floor price on Opensea (even in this market).

Despite leaving with great fanfare, big promises for their Mfers collection, and a final “end of sartoshi” collection, the anon user simply dipped, leaving the final collection art unrevealed. Now, though, Sartoshi has reappeared, and his “end of sartoshi” collection description has changed to say that holders will get access to art drops.

Many traders seem to be of the opinion that Sartoshi ran out of money or had it on FTX and that nothing Sartoshi creates should be touched. Knowing NFT mfers, though, Sartoshi is going to grab a lot more cash in 2023.
