The Web3 space stays growing despite the bear market, and new companies join on an almost daily basis. The latest is Shopify, which recently announced its partnership with Avalanche to build an "easier and faster" way for Shopify merchants to design, mint, and sell NFTs, which will use the Avalanche blockchain. They have allowed cryptocurrency transactions through their 3rd-party vendors, but now merchants can transact with the blockchain natively within Shopify. This is good news for creators wanting to sell digital products, but questions remain about how it will actually serve the overall NFT ecosystem and also Shopify users wanting to enter the market, as the Avalanche NFT ecosystem is not a dominant player in the market.
