TikTok Now Allows Users to Mint Videos as NFTs

Published at: April 13, 2023

TikTok is seemingly making things easier for users to monetize their content. This has been introduced using Nfinity, a social media technology platform. The feature is called 'Collect' and it allows users to transform their content into NFTs. To do this, TikTok users need to create a separate account with Nfinity and upload content to that platform. They can then select which blockchain they would like to use and Nfinity will create digital assets from the content. Nfinity currently supports several blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Flow, and BNB smart chain.

On the Nfinity app, users can then mint their collection. They can choose rarities, the size of their NFT collection, and even create metadata for their NFTs. Additionally, Nfinity provides tools to help advertise and market the collection. Once minted and collected,Nfinity also has analytics functions for creators to track their NFTs. They can use this data to chart the performance of their collections and use the information to help them in future NFT drops. For fans, they can now purchase NFTs from their favorite TikTok creators on the Nfinity app. They can also use Nfinity to keep viewing the content. As of now, Nfinity shows content from several platforms, including YouTube, Twitter, and of course, TikTok.
