The new meta in the space is rewards programs. The big, big news is Starbucks adding their blockchain-based “travel stamps” (which are definitely notNFTs) to their loyalty program line-up, and in other big news, holders of “blue chip” NFT projects can cash in on Web2 rewards through portfolio tracker AssetDash’s new program called DashDeals. Only a few of the big NFT names have been added to their roster, but holders of projects like Punks, BAYC, Moonbird, and DeGods can log in and get deals on offers from Web2 blue chips like Nike, Apple, Discord, and Gamestop.
Flower Girls is another cool project doing incentives in a really beautiful and unique way. The more NFTs you have and the longer you hold, the more “seeds” you receive. These can be used to “buy” art in their seed store. (They’re also really into supporting young artists, which is just awesome).
Super cool things are happening in the world of rewards in Web3. It’s definitely the new meta.
